Meet the founder!
Victoria has a passion for food and baking. This has been part of her life from an early age thanks to her mom, Jean, encouraging her and letting her loose in the kitchen (don't mention the bowls!). After living in Wales for most of her life, she has embraced the Welsh traditions and wanted to share her passion. Victoria discovered Welsh Cakes after marrying her South Walian husband, Terry. He knows them as Bakestones. He inherited his love of them from his mum, Patricia. He bought Victoria a bakestone (or griddle) and the rest is history.
